Interests

Music – I have an eclectic taste in music, from Classic Rock to Motown, Metal to Hip Hop, Pop to Hardcore. I enjoy anything that provokes an emotion and has a purpose to exist. I have booked and promoted club nights, tours and provided artist management and support for international packages and have also worked as a stage manager and front of house sound engineer at live events and festivals.

Writing – I’ve written 6 music albums that have gone into international production, and even at the age of 14 I both wrote and was editor for my own hardcore/punk rock fanzine. Today I still write lyrics and press releases, however developing concepts and storyboards for music videos is a passion of mine that continues to grow which satisfies a constant craving to be creative.

Photography – Although I do not own an SLR camera and am very much a part of the pocket point and shoot generation I appreciate and understand the power and importance of a strong image. I have worked with both Nigel Crane and Tom Barnes who’s clients include Front Magazine, Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Nuts.co.uk, Loaded.co.uk, NME, Rock Sound etc.                                            www.nigelcrane.com      www.tombarnesphoto.com

Reading – from rock-star autobiographies to trashy magazines. I am particularly enjoying the modern day feel of the music and ‘lads’ magazines as they seem to be taking on a more edgy punk rock feel of what I used to produce in my own fanzine ‘Noreason’.

Cinema, Television, Music videos/documentries & Radio – I do enjoy intelligent drama but I love off the wall comedies and cult movies. I appreciate original strong narratives and comedy, particularly classic comedy and TV sitcoms.

Travel – as well as touring the world for over a decade in numerous bands, I’ve also spent long periods in Australia and Fiji backpacking and have had many trips across both Europe and America.
